シカゴのレジェンド、CommonがまだCommon Senseと名乗っていた94年リリースの2ndアルバム。1stと比較してもよい意味で角が取れたCommonのラップスタイルと、制作に加わったNo I.D.にMista Sinister、Troy Hightowerといった敏腕裏方の手腕とが渾然一体となった作品で、NasやBiggieのデビューアルバムと並んで1994年を象徴する一枚となりました。シングルカットされた"Resurrection"はLP Versionがベスト。"In My Own World"や"Chapter 13"あたりも渋いですね。
